Lunch 'n Learn - A How to Guide on Handling Difficult People with Sarah Gayer

We all encounter people we find difficult and usually conversations with them leave us feeling frustrated, mad or even frightened. Have you ever tried to reason with a difficult person? How did it work out for you? No matter how hard we try, there is always going to be somebody we cannot make happy. During our session, we will explore what happens in these exchanges and show how we can adapt our strategies to bring about a productive conversation and thus lead to creating different outcomes. We will only be able to scratch the surface of this area but you will be able to come away with some great strategies.

As a Human Resources Consultant, Sarah has worked in both the private sector and in the not for profit sector. Sarah forms strategic partnerships and alliances with her clients in order to provide them with the expertise, tools and resources required by them to become strategically aligned. She has also provided expertise in the area of coaching in working with entrepreneurs, newcomers and managers to assist them in becoming better leaders and successful business people.
Sarah is also a trained mediator in the workplace, family and elder. She assists organizations in mediating conflict, conducting investigations and provides training in this area.
